At the Centre of Rehabilitation Excellence and at New Dimensions Rehabilitation, Tom and David added ‘SuperSlow Rehab’ as one of the rehab protocols of their physical therapy businesses. In addition to SuperSlow Rehab, servicing physical therapy patients, they also service the general consumer/general exerciser with SuperSlow personal strength training.

Over the last five years, Tom and David have worked with multiple medical diagnosis and health conditions using SuperSlow Rehab as one component of their rehab patient’s treatment plan. Their professional backgrounds, extensive physical therapy careers, and the amount of time they have been using SuperSlow Rehab with a vast array of conditions forms the basis for helping SuperSlow Zone owners with their clients.

Prior to founding The SuperSlow Zone, Madeline was the CEO of Gylanix Institute, where, over a period of 6 years, she designed and delivered the business systems that are being implemented in all of The SuperSlow Zone franchises. In doing so, she worked closely with Ken Hutchins and approximately forty SuperSlow and non-SuperSlow facilities which served as real-world business and market laboratories for testing and refining all the business systems that constitute a successful turnkey franchise.

In addition to her experience in the health and fitness industry, Madeline brings to The SuperSlow Zone more than 15 years experience as an executive coach, entrepreneur, educator, and speaker. She has worked with organizations in the USA, Europe and Latin America where she designed and deployed a systems approach to sales, quality assurance, customer satisfaction, referral stimulation, and internal and external marketing.

Madeline studied leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation with Hecht and Associates in San Jose, California, and completed fives years of study at The Center for the Study of Somatics and Leadership culminating in her certification as a Somatics Coach. She earned a BA at Colorado College, and an MBA at Kennedy Western University.

Lou Abato, a SuperSlow® Master, owns and operates one SuperSlow® facility in Manhattan, New York City for 10 years, offering personal strength training and exercise-based SuperSlow post-rehab. Lou has strength trained professionally for 25 years, including 8 years as a Rehab Specialist in a medical setting. As part of Lou’s experience in high intensity training, he has also competed as a natural bodybuilder. Lou has successfully delivered over 100,000 SuperSlow® personal strength training sessions. He is a teacher for the SuperSlow Zone Institute and is consistently ranked 4.7 to 5 points [out of 5 total points] by the SSZI students, Certified SuperSlow Instructors, when they take the Continuing Education Course he teaches. He also SuperSlow strength trains 37 key executives from 15 national and mult-national corporations. Lou personally delivers on average 140 SuperSlow® client sessions per week.

May 1989 – August 1992:
Director of Rehabilitation Services for the Texas Back Institute, Plano, Texas. Responsible for Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy and clinical responsibility in the Plan Back WeRCs’ work hardening program. January 1985 – May 1989:

Initiation of all education and training programs for customers in isokinetic testing and rehabilitation. August 1982 – January 1985:
Director of Rehabilitation and Director of Physical Therapy for Woodland Memorial Hospital Woodland, CA. Responsible for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Staff included 6 PT’s, 4 PTA’s, 1 OTR, and 1 Speech Pathologist, 3 clerical support staff. Initially recruited to restructure failing PT program. Increased average visits per month from 500-1200. Initiated, planned and marketed a stand-alone Sport Medicine Program (Sport-Med) with approval to opening interval of 30 days.

June 1978 – August 1982:
Senior Therapist-Orthopedics, Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, CA. Started as staff therapist in Cardiac program and the following year was responsible for the G.I. and TPN therapy programs. All programs emphasized patient education. Transfer to staff therapist in Orthopedics (1/80) Therapist with Trauma Unit and TMJ Clinic.

Ryan Womack

Ryan has been the Owner/Founder of SuperSlow Zone®, College Station-Bryan, a franchised fitness facility employing SuperSlow® personal strength training since 2001. He brings to the company a long-standing history of helping kids build their capabilities as a physical education teacher in the Bryan Independent School District, where he also coached football and track. Ryan’s vision is to make a significant impact in helping people who are looking to enhance their good health or helping those with medical diagnosis and/or health conditions. He has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, and is a Certified SuperSlow® Master Instructor and SuperSlow Zone® Institute Teacher.

Ryan is consistently rated as a 4.7 to 5 as a SuperSlow Zone Teacher [5 total points possible].
